Wil Brasington has served as a member of Greenville City Council since 2017. He previously served on the City of Greenville’s Planning Commission, as president of the Alta Vista Neighborhood Association, and as a commissioner of the Greenville Water System.

He earned a degree in history from Clemson University, where he served as student body president, and a Master of Business Administration from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. He is a graduate of Leadership Greenville and Leadership South Carolina.

Professionally, Brasington is the Chief Executive Officer of the Clemson Alumni Association, where he leads an organization that engages with more than 200,000 alumni worldwide. In addition to serving as the head of alumni relations for Clemson University, he facilitates the affairs of the Association's board of directors and oversees all managerial, financial, and programmatic components of the organization. He previously served an assignment as a special advisor to the President of Clemson University.
